In this part of the Help file, the individual elements of a job for the n2pdf Server Task are described.

 

A Job Document is a normal Notes document which is created in a particular database (see "Functional description") and contains all necessary information for the Server Task. The information is stored in the Job Documents using fields with pre-defined names. Each of these fields begins with the prefix "$N2PDF" and is therefore easily distinguished from other Notes fields.

 

The Job Documents are managed in the database "n2pdf Jobs". A Job Document of this kind can be created there using the relevant Notes form. You will find information below about the individual "tabs" of the Job Document, and the options that can be set.
