The Jotun Group is one of the world's major manufacturers of paints, coatings and powder coatings.
Jotun is a worldwide manufacturer among the leading in some areas. The Group had a sales income of USD 817 million in 2003 and 4500 employees. 36 production facilities in Europe, Middle East, Far East, Australia, South Africa and USA. The Jotun Groups headoffice is located in Sandefjord, Norway.

Jotun has implemented n2pdf in a database called "Technical Data Sheets". The database creates technical data sheets for all kinds of paints. The technical data sheets describe all technical aspects of the paints such as pre-treatment, physical properties, drying times etc. All paints must be provided with a technical data sheets when sold to a customer.

An agent in the technical data sheets database creates the required PDF document every time a datasheet changes. The PDF files are also published automatically on the Jotun Web sites. Below you will find a couple of sample documents from the application. The "live" application can be found at www.jotun.com in the bottom right section called "Services" there is a heading called "Technical and Safety Datasheets". The "technical data sheets" are created with n2pdf.
