Second Beta-Version now available in Download-Area

The second beta-version expands the options to generate pdf files from Notes

Since our first beta-version of n2pdf has already been received with great interest, we are now in the position to introduce to you the second beta-version. This updated beta-version already incorporates some of the feedback from the beta-tester, as well as some new options.The most important innovations of this beta-version are as follows:

Table of contents (TOC)
- Set the tab position in the TOC or allow it to be automatically calculated
- Set a text before and after the TOC
- unformated text or richtext content
- allow the use of style sheets for unformated text
- with the replacement of variables
- Set the page on which the TOC is to be created
- Set the list type (numeric, alphabetic, roman)

Notes Links
- Convert Notes database and view links to external URL-links (allows the setting of the host)
- Displays Notes links as graphics or as text
- Automatic linking of Notes documents (conversion of Notes document links)

Hyperlinks
- Converts texts that start with "http://" or "www." to true hyperlinks
- Removes alle hyperlinks in a document
- Set font type, size and color for hyperlinks (to highlight hyperlinks)

Layout
- Set a user defined paper size
- Set the measurement unit (cm or inch)
- Set all paper properties (size, margins, spacing) in cm or inch

Global replacement
- Define which area the global font, color and size replacement is to be valid for
- entire document
- not for headers and footers
- not for the TOC

Headers and footers
- Contents may be passed as richtext or unformated text
- Use style sheets for headers and footers
- Variable replacement in headers and footers
- Select headers and footers for pre-defined pages: first and last page, odd and even pages, all pages

Document
- Unformated text may be inserted in a document
- A style sheet can be selected, before text is inserted in the document

Style sheets
- Define any number of style sheets (font, font size, font color, font style, line spacing, background color, tab stops)
- Select a style sheet by name and use the style sheet when inserting unformated text
- Standard style sheets for certain document elements: "_DEFAULT", "_TOC", "_GLOBAL"

Notes "show/hide" conditions
- Set the Notes show/hide conditions (which flags are considered during the export)
