The conversion of file attachments is a functionality integrated in the core product of n2pdf. With this functionality it is possible to include attachments from the Notes documents (e. g. e-mails) in the PDf file - no matter, if an attachment is converted on the Server (e. g. with n2pdf Server Agent or n2pdf Server Task) or on the Client (e. g. with n2pdf Client).

The conversion of attachments with n2pdf is performed by the four modi
- import
- conversion
- embedding or
- linking

Packed attachments can also be converted.

One special mode is the conversion mode using the StarOffice Server - PDF Converter. The converter is able to convert over 100 different file formats into the PDF format, without the original application being necessary.
